Accreditation

How can a school ensure that it is meeting its obligations in relation to providing a quality educational program?

An accredited non-government school is required to have processes in place to:

  • record the achievement of students
  • demonstrate the standard of teaching of courses at school
  • demonstrate that the facilities provided are adequate for the courses taught at the school.

Can a school offering education of a kind be accredited? If so what are the requirements?

Yes, a school offering education of a kind can be accredited. For accreditation a school must provide teaching/learning programs developed from NESA syllabuses including NESA Developed courses, NESA Developed Life Skills courses, Content Endorsed and/or NESA Endorsed courses.
